Every year the Liberation week festivities attract hundreds of visitors to Guernsey and 2010, the 65th Anniversary of the Liberation of Guernsey, will be no exception.
The Guernsey Military Vehicle Group are looking to host a week long tour for approximately 70 visiting military vehicles from the UK, France, Belgium and Switzerland together with their followers. With so many unusual vehicles gracing our shores, we felt that this would also be an ideal time to stage a display of all forms of transport, antique and modern, from enthusiasts and collectors from all over Guernsey.
We are therefore organising a "Liberation Festival of Transport" display to be held in the picturesque grounds of Sausmarez Park on 8th May 2010, supported by the States of Guernsey Culture and Leisure department.
If you would like to exhibit your vehicle(s) at this event please download the entry form below and return it to us by 28th February 2010 so that we may assess numbers and allocate space accordingly.
The "Liberation Festival of Transport" is a family event with a family theme so please help us make this a show to remember the 65th Anniversary of Liberation.
