This vehicle was delivered in July 1945. Due to the war ending, this particular truck stayed in the US up until at least 1957. The truck went through some sort of overhaul that year at the Kansas Ordnance Department. Sometime between 1957 and 1973 it was sold to the Norwegian Army where in 1973 it went through its second overhaul. Some of the parts on this vehicle, for example the seats and tyres are all Norwegian. These will be replaced with original US Army parts to bring it back to its fully original condition. This truck has a fully working winch, louvered rear mud flaps, all original timbers (apart from the uprights for the rear canvas) and the original timber steering wheel. Apart from obvious need for a good coat of paint, it is a fine example and runs like a dream.
