The wartime history of this vehicle is unknown. This Jeep was rebuilt by deutsche Waggon-U, Maschinen Fabriken, Berlin-Borsigwalde in August 1955. After being released from the Norwegian Army reserve in the mid 1980's it was purchased by the present owner in 1987. It has been modified to represent a Jeep of the 1st Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron ("A" Troop) during the ill-fated Operation Market Garden, 1944.
